Lakshmi is a two year old girl from the north of India, but she is a little girl with a difference. She was born with four legs and four arms, isciopagus is the name of this extremely rare condition. Most of us would never think that this could ever happen, but it apparently does! Lakshmi is now under-going surgery which is said to take anything up to 40 hours and requires 30 surgeons.
We just hope that everything does go well for Laskhmi and one day she will be able to walk and stand by herself and be playing and joining in with the fun with other children.
